Kim's Story 🐚 🌊

Where a love for the coast meets a passion for creating

Kimberly on the beach

While I attended Gettysburg College, I earned a minor degree in Art and chose to focus on African, Native American and Oceanic cultures. I was drawn to the organic materials they used to create art and how art was incorporated into everyday objects. I was interested in the importance they placed on the creative process itself, and not just the end product.

During the Pandemic, I found myself rediscovering the natural world around me. I took long walks in the woods and on the beach, collecting driftwood, shells, grapevines, flowers to dry, etc…that inspired me to be creative again. Thank you so much for your support.
